Not as good as others My 4-year-old was helping me wrap gifts, and found this Elmo (for her brother) to be absolutely hilarious… for a short time. She ended up playing with it because while my son loves Elmo, the animatronics scared him (which is NOT part of my reason low rating). Our daughter isn’t much of a Sesame fan, but she liked Elmo’s joke (singular) and laughed at him being scared when he was held upside down. She also thought the noise of him pretending to blast off into space was hilarious. However, the single joke of, “Tighter! Tighter! That’s too tight! Haha!” got old fast. I actually thought it was broken at first, but apparently that’s just the way it is.

“Elmo can’t breathe”… Oh. My. Goodness! This thing is SO cute!

If you have an Elmo fan, buy this! Got this for my 2 year old for his Birthday. We NEVER watch or do ANYTHING Elmo in our house. He picked it up from school and he’s obsessed. So I thought this would be a good Bday present. And boy was I RIGHT. He took it out of the box and yelled EEEEELLLLLMOOOOO!!!!!!!! I got it for $50 on Amazon. It sells for $60 (plus taxes) at Walmart. At the time I bought it. My son sleeps with this thing. He carries it with him wherever he goes. He baby’s it. He will put him under covers. Put his head on a pillow. HE FEEDS him doughnuts and chips. And gives him drinks. It’s pretty ridiculous. He is nicer to this Elmo than he is to his own family!!! You hang him upside down and he laughs and says something about being upside down and wants to be upright. You hug him and he says “Please hold Elmo tighter”. Then you hug him and he says “That’s too tight.” He says “Elmo loves you”. My son LOVES that one and repeats it ALL the time. He sings a song to go to sleep. He sings…
